Working Principle

The SWNR1000A Series Radar Level Transmitter operates on the principle of microwave pulse reflection. Here's how it works:

Pulse Emission: The radar level antenna, engineered by Petrotech, emits narrow microwave pulses.

Reflection: When these pulses encounter the surface of the measured medium, they are reflected back towards the antenna.

Signal Reception: The antenna system receives the reflected microwaves.

Signal Processing: The received signal is transmitted to the electronic circuit where it is partially converted into level signals. Thanks to the high propagation speed of microwaves, the entire process from emission to reception is almost instantaneous, ensuring rapid and accurate measurement.
